Who will you vote for in the upcoming General Election? The Conservatives have held the seat for over four decades, with the current MP, Edward Garnier leading the Tories to victory since 1992. However, in 2005 the Liberal Democrats took nearly 35% of the vote and having established themselves in the council are looking to better this result.

Other parties that are contesting the Harborough seat include Labour, UKIP, BNP and English Democrats. Your vote will count in this marginal seat so ensure you are registered to vote and head to the polls on the 6th May!
