Parks

There are plenty of green spaces and parks in Market Harborough – surprising given the size of the town. The largest part is Welland Park which runs along side the River Welland. It has a childrens play area, a small cafe, tennis courts, open grass play area, gardens and even a mini-golf course! (although don’t go with great expectations on that one!).

The other large park is Symingtons Reck which is a large green space just off St. Mary’s Road. The annual carnival procession usually starts and ends from here.

There are also numerous green spaces and children’s play areas dotted around the various residential estates which makes Market Harborough a pleasant place to live and to bring up your children.
